Lately, I have had many memories surface both willfully and passively. These memories stir me deeply inside and I am filled with a longing to understand several things. First, why am I having these frequent stirrings of life past and recent. Next, I am seeking understanding to this pattern.

Why is it happening?

A realization came to me that these memories embrace all that made me who I am and they involve everyone whom I have ever met or who ever became a part of my life. So this means that I will be writing about an entire generation filled with monumental events. I realized that my life embraces a cultural revolution that is probably unrivaled in history. It was and is a generation of great awakening on multiple levels. Rapid advances in technology, spirituality, learning, health, travel, space and ocean exploration happened in my life time. The music industry merged into the culture as a necessity for this generation’s growth.

Social movements were born that still gain momentum today. I have been privileged enough to be part of one of these unique spiritual and cultural events, the rainbow gatherings. I have the privilege and opportunity to write an exclusive history about this peace and community movement that bases its premises on prophecy from multiple religions and societies with a focus on the Hopi traditional prophecies. It is a book …no, it’s more than a book, it is a spiritual experience in the making for me.

I have made a decision to begin a journal of these memories so I can compile my life experiences. Maybe this will help me understand how my life ties to the grander scene of philosophical, spiritual, and cultural evolution so I can focus on the precepts as a whole. In this search, I hope to figure out how to tell the story of a lifetime.
